Update on Cocktail 9 Start time

Cocktail 9 will now start at 5:15pm on 6/21/19.

Rubber band bet between FeliCHI and Mikey V has been scrapped because terms could not be agreed to.  Non-competitors are shocked and confused that such an easy wager can be botched so badly.

All transfusion wagers can now be placed between individuals/teams (if necessary).

Whiff Day Festivities

Whiff Day:
Festivities will start at 7:30 @Tees (Choose a bucket of your liking)

After everyone is done we will gather at the chipping green.
-Each person in attendance will be given 3 balls at a spot determined by myself
-Closest to the pin wins the whiff day giveaway

After the presentation of said giveaway all are invited to continue the celebration at Ye Olde Ale House  (405 Germantown pike lafayette hills)

2019 FeliCHI Golf Classic Rules & Regulations

12^th Annual FeliCHI Classic Rules and Regulations

"The Melee for Filet"

June 21^st-June 22^nd, Avalon, NJ

Friday, June 21^st                                                                                        

            -Location: Heritage Links Golf Club (www.golfheritagelinks.com)

            -Time: 4:30 pm (Sunset at 8:28 pm; earlier start to allow for wager and steak dinner)

-Format: 9 Hole Straight Alternate Shot; pairings decided via chip off by higher ranked team members on putting green prior to round (closest to hole picks groups).  Team Private will pick the chipping spot and order as they were previous years winners.

** If there is no putting green or practice area, Team Private will pick groups as they were top point scorers from previous year.

-Points: 3 for low score, 2 for 2^nd place, 1 for 3^rd place and 0 for 4^th place.  These points will carry over to Saturday morning.

-Drinks: Minimum 6 pack per team (player’s choice) + 1 Malibu Pina Colada Mixer (commish provided)

**Side bet between Ventura and FeliCHI will commence after round is complete.  Wager is Ventura’s legs banded together vs. FeliCHI at full swing/ strength.  3 Hole match play, loser pays for a round of transfusions at the P post Alternate shot or post steak dinner. 

** NY Strip steaks to be served at 65 West 13^th Street, Avalon NJ after round.

           

Saturday, June 22^nd (Day of Days)

            -Location: The Pines (golfcapemaycounty.com)

            -Time: 8:00 am

-Format: Round Robin 6-hole Team Scramble:

-One drive per player must be used in each match

-All 6 hole matches must be completed in 1 hour, 20 minutes.  Each 5-minute interval over the 1:20 time limit will result in a 1-point deduction for each team.

-If a playoff is needed to determine the championship competitors, we will start on hole 1.  Championship matches will also start on hole 1 and will continue  until completed.

-Points: 2 points for each hole won, 1 point for each hole halved, 2 points for each match won, 1 point for each team if the match is halved.

            -Top 2 teams advance to 9 Hole Scramble Championship Round (Match play)

            -Bottom 2 teams will play 6 Hole Alternate Shot (Match Play)

                        - Losers pay for post Classic meal

-Drinks: Bloody Mary or Screwdriver and 6 beers for Match 1, John Daly and 6 beers for Match 2, TBD and 6 beers for Match 3 (Group Check after each match).  Championship and Loser bracket will have 6 beers remaining for each team.

            Session 1 (8am)- Thumb vs Private; Baby Blue vs Salmon

            Session 2 (9:30am) TBD

            Session 3 (11:am) TBD

            Championship (12:45pm) TBD

Miscellaneous Rules

-Speech will begin at 8:00 am.  If all team representatives are not present at the first tee, a 1-point deduction will be incurred.

-All new USGA rules will be followed.  Pin can remain in, no lining up of any kind and dropping from knee height (if you’re dropping, just give up the hole.  You’re done).  Any other rules can be found at USGA.org

- Puking will result in a 3-point deduction.

- Beer/Drinks not being completed will result in a disqualification and 4^th place finish for first time offenders.  Repeat offenders will require a shotgun before each match the next year as well as starting with 0 points on Saturday.  30 rack of beer would be required.

-Any cheating will result in a disqualification and 4^th place finish for first time offenders.  Repeat offenders will officially be banned for life.  Ricky or Eppy will be on speed dial.

Vote on Tie breaker

This is a vote for the tie breaker process for 6 hole matches that end in a tie.  Current format splits the bonus points between the two teams.

Format to be voted on is “Name that Tune putting”.  After flipping a tee, winning team will pick a distance and line which can either be accepted as the putting distance, or lengthened by next team.  This will continue until a team is called to make the putt.  Both members will then have a chance to make the putt.  If made, 2 points awarded to that team; if missed the other team receives the 2 points.
